Log maintenance

If you have been invited as a user, you can start with maintenance directly in the app. The person with the role of company manager in the company registered with us can add machines and maintenance plans. Once the plans are created on the web, maintenance can be logged in the Farmers First app by the user(s) connected to the machine. All maintenance is saved so that the log can be viewed on the web.

Download the app

How to download the app

Go to Google Play or the App Store and search for Farmers First. Click on "Download" to start the free download. Once the app is downloaded, click on it and enter your login details (the same as on the web).

LOG THE MAINTENANCE

Choose a machine or implement

Start by clicking the "CHOOSE MACHINE" button. The tools and machines you have access to will be listed, and you can easily select them by clicking on the right tool or machine.

Once you have chosen the implement or machine, the next step is to perform maintenance.

Log the maintenance

Click on the icon with a wrench and screwdriver in the app to perform and register maintenance on your machine. You will now see an overview of your selected equipment or machine's maintenance status and can see which actions need to be performed or are planned. You can also view previously completed actions in the activity log. When you have completed all or some of the actions but want to do the remaining ones later, click "Confirm."

Select maintenance occasion and log maintenance

Choose a maintenance occasion (interval) to display the actions that need to be carried out. Click on an action to check it off so that it turns green.

Verify the action with a photo and add notes

Some actions require photo verification, and you will be prompted to take a photo. You can also add your own comments or notes.

Use images from the instruction manual

Maintenance actions that have an "i" on the right side can be clicked to access instructions in both image and text format.

Log the operation

Click on the stopwatch icon to log the operation of the machine. This is useful for tracking how far the machine has been used and to ensure that no maintenance tasks are missed before or after operation. To use this feature, you need to allow the app to access your phone's GPS function. In the activity log, you can see how the machine has moved on a map.

You can also enter operating time and meter reading retrospectively if you don't want to log the operation. Use the button with numbers in the app to report the meter reading so that maintenance activities are synchronized with how the machine is used.

Report issues

If you come across something that needs documentation, there are different ways to submit information about it.

Use "Defect/Issue" to submit warranty cases to us and your selected service point.
Use "Repair/Upgrade" to inform your supervisor or colleagues that a spare part or wearing part needs to be replaced.
Use "Cost" to upload documents and receipts for expenses related to machines.
