Transport of the machine
After the purchase agreement is signed and the machine is ordered, you will receive a preliminary delivery date to your chosen service provider. The time from the signed purchase agreement to delivery varies depending on the machine model. Some machines are in stock while others need to be scheduled into the manufacturer's production plan. At the time of the purchase agreement, you will receive information about the preliminary delivery date.
Preparations for customer delivery
After the machine is manufactured, it is transported to your chosen service provider for final adjustments before delivery to you as the customer. This may include final assembly of certain parts and equipment. A final inspection of the machine is also conducted to ensure everything is ready for operation.
Collaboration with local service providers
The network of local service providers is one of the key components of the Farmers First model. They offer service, repairs, spare parts, and assist with preparation, handover, and startup of your machine in connection with delivery. Learn more about our service providers here.
Handover to customer
Typically, the machine is handed over to you at the chosen service provider. During the handover, you will receive an introduction, the length of which depends on the complexity of the machine. For simpler equipment, the introduction takes place at the service provider's location, while for more advanced machines, a scheduled startup in the field at the customer's site is also included.
Startup
For the larger and more advanced machines, the service provider and, if necessary, someone from Farmers First will participate in the field startup. There is also the possibility of getting support from the manufacturer during the startup of the most advanced machines. The scope can vary from a few hours to up to 1-2 days for the largest machines to ensure that the machine is running correctly and that the customer receives help with handling and making the correct settings.
Maintenance agreement, ProKit, and maintenance plan
For larger machines, a maintenance agreement with your chosen service provider is included, as well as a ProKit with spare parts that are good to have on hand. All machines come with a maintenance plan to make it easier to take care of preventive maintenance.
